DESCRIPTION: The Portarlington, St. Leonards, Swan Bay and Queenscliff areas are rich in maritime history including shipwrecks, submarines, historical fishing villages, and a fort built in case of a Russian invasion. Swan Bay is very peaceful with fantastic bird and wildlife habitat and has recently been included as part of the Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park.
