How to pack your kayak
  • LOCATION: Eden, Southern NSW about 7 to 8 hours drive from Melbourne. Meet at Boydtown caravan and camping park (6km south of Eden on the Princes Highway).
  • DESCRIPTION: This journey is a stunner! This section of coast offers warm water with superb scenery, abundant aquatic life, cliffs and caves to explore. The bird life is amazing while you may also see dolphins and whales. The beaches are spectacular and the sheltered estuaries are stunning. Snorkelling in these areas is also possible. The many bays, islands and headlands make for interesting paddling and places to shelter in the event of poor weather.
         A training day is necessary and can be programmed a week before hand or “on site”, the day before the expedition commences.
  • GRADE: Intermediate —years 10 to 12
  • DURATION: 5 to 7 days
  • MINIMUM GROUP SIZE: 12
  • INCLUSIONS: All kayak equipment, camping fees and 2 kayak guides
  • COST: $90 per student per day
